Day of Thanks

What are we thankful for?

Most importantly, we are thankful for our extended friends and family.

We are so grateful for all of our friends;  new and old, near and far, young and old. Each and every one has left an imprint on our lives, and we love you all!

Our families are so full of love and laughter.  We truly enjoy spending time with both sides, and miss them when we are not able to be spending holidays with them.  I am so grateful that we are able to raise our children with such wonderful role models of love, kindess, generosity, and care for others.

We are thankful for our little family.

TT Dad and I wished and hoped (and more) for a long time before our littles arrived.  We always knew Marley would make the best big brother, and have often joked that he takes care of us more than we take care of him.  In their two short years, the duo has filled our home with so much laughter, joy, and immense love.  Even in our not-so-great moments, we are grateful to have the opportunity to be their mom and dad.  Experiencing the world through their eyes is a gift we are thankful for every day.

We are thankful for the opportunities presented to us.

There are so many great places in this world, and so many stories to learn about each of them. We are so lucky to have the opportunity for me to be home with the kids, and to be able to take them with us on our adventures.  We are grateful, and try so very hard to take advantage of every opportunity.

We are thankful that our hearts and minds are filled with memories; happy, and sad. We are thankful that we’ve had the chance to experience so much of life already, and we are hopeful that there are many more memories to come.
