TT Dad had a business trip coming up- in Phoenix. Arizona. Not the East Coast. Not Eastern Time. Not a quick drive away.
We would be flying for the first time. This was huge. We did as much research (google and other blogs) as possible, and decided to start with Southwest. After more research, and budget-checking, we booked a two bedroom villa at the Hilton Scottsdale Resorts and Villas. The price was right- this two bedroom villa was cheaper than a one-bedroom suite at any of the other resorts that had availability.
Lest we forget, TT Dad had a business trip going on, so he would be otherwise occupied during most of the trip. The duo and I were quick to find things to keep us busy, including a few trips to Target. Surprise, surprise. Auntie A came for the business side of things, but she also found some time to spend with us! She even let us go out for a date, one night!
