Post number 100.
When did that happen? 99 posts under our belt. 99. Did I really have enough to say to fill 99 posts?
Yes. Yes, I did. If you know me, you know it wasn’t a challenge 😉
We’ve had 99 posts worth of amazing memories, and 99 posts worth of mistakes made- resulting in 99 lessons learned.
I’ve thought long and hard about how to celebrate my 100th post, but I haven’t found the perfect idea, yet. 100 of my favorite places we’ve been? 100 travel tips? 100 travel blogs we recommend?
You have to really know your stuff to put together a list of 100 anythings, right? Instead, maybe we’ll just take a minute to reflect.
Our duo is now Two and a Half.
In 2014, we had no idea what we were in store for. Two little babies entered our world, and changed our lives for the better, even if we didn’t know it at the time.
Back then, we were overwhelmed by the idea of doing anything with two small children- never mind all those plans we had to travel with our kids! Eventually we were ready to start small, with a lunch outing.
With growing confidence, we ended up going on our first overnight in a hotel.
So many of our adventures were possible because of our support system. Whether it was watching Marley, an extra set of hands, offering advice, a shoulder to cry on, someone to laugh with… We are incredibly lucky to have the support of our family and friends.
Without them, we wouldn’t be here. Our littles have set foot in almost 20 states. We still have quite a few to go- with some new adventures planned for this summer.
The clock is ticking. In the fall, we’ll have a new scheduling hurdle- nursery school! Two and a half years ago, this milestone seemed so very far away. When they say time flies, my gosh, is it true! It’s hard to believe we are staring down the face of Nursery School!
We’ve come so far in the past two and a half years- but we have so many adventures ahead.
