Beautiful Fall

Once we returned home, we had almost a whole month before our next planned overnight adventure.

In the meantime, we would keep ourselves busy with our first Flower Girl/Ring Bearer gig, Halloween (and other Fall adventures), and finally, turning two.

Of course, we couldn’t let it be that easy.  TT Dad and I decided to give Potty Training a whirl just before the duo would turn two- but let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

In the beginning of October, my old roommate was getting married.  She had asked the duo to be her flower girl and ring bearer.  They were excited, and I was so touched that she would invite them to be a part of their day.

The ceremony was beautiful.  The reception was a blast.  Every detail was perfect…  even the duo.  After a disastrous showing at the rehearsal, and rehearsal dinner-  these two little entertainers put their game faces on, and rocked that aisle.  They were adorable (yes, I am biased-  but it’s true!).

Even better, Nonie & Pops came to get them from the wedding so TT Dad and I could really enjoy the celebration.

Next up was Halloween Prep.  Once we had picked out the perfect pumpkings, we took advantage of some unseasonably warm weather, and played in the leaves a bit.  Then we played some more.  We squeezed in some extra time on the swing set, too.

We spent a LOT of time outdoors this fall.

In the meantime, I was busy preparing for our next big adventure.  I read a TON of potty training guides, and methods, and then I read some more.  We settled on ‘Oh Crap! Potty Training‘ by Jamie Glowacki, and made sure to bookmark her website.

Here goes nothing!
