Now, what?
We started a blog. A blog about our travels. Traveling with Twins.
If there was one thing we’d learned so far… it was that we had a lot to learn. Why not invite all of you to come along! We would aim to make our blog a mixture of education and entertainment. There would be reviews of places and gear. We will share tips we find useful, and tips we find anything but. Along the way, we’ll also give you a little glimpse of our silly moments, and lessons learned.
We decided to start off our travels with a weekend in Vermont. TT Dad and I have a soft spot for Vermont- it’s full of memories of our engagement weekend. This trip would be a little different, for many reasons- that was May, this would be January; it was just the two of us, this time we had two extra passengers… the list goes on.
There were two big ‘firsts’ planned for this weekend. TT Dad and I would be spending a full day (approximately 8 hours) together, without kids. That hadn’t happened since, well… 2014. While we appreciate having the flexibility to join TT Dad on his business trips, staying at home means the duo has become quite accustomed to being in our care. In order for us to have our first full day alone together, we would be enrolling the kids at a child care facility. It would be their first real experience in any sort of day care.
Assuming I didn’t chicken out, which was a huge possibility. Stay tuned to find out if I was able to let them out of my sight!
